Serious brunch at the Original Pancake House in Chicago. I can never resist a good greasy skillet!
Happy Wednesday, people! How’s your week going? I had a very productive “single lady” weekend while Brad visited his friend Dave in Madison. I caught up with girlfriends, watched way too much Millionaire Matchmaker, and drank tons of wine – I couldn’t have asked for a better girly weekend! Of course, I was more than happy to greet Brad when he got home – a girl can only watch so much trashy TV before she starts to miss watching football a little teeny tiny bit (never tell him I admitted that). On to this week’s Foodie Favorites!
Ain’t no party like a mac n’ cheese party, amiright?! This is the best idea I’ve seen in a long, long time!
I know basically zero details about our wedding at this point, but I do know I love the idea of serving this Icelandic happy marriage cake as part of a dessert table. How delicious does that look?!
These spicy eggs and potatoes are totally my winter love-food. Spicy, cozy, and healthy – what more could we ask for?!
Every winter I go on a small (read: not small) chili kick, and this year I’m loving this quick and easy, healthy but hearty turkey version. It comes together really quickly and has incredible flavor – I strongly recommend it! (And I’m already dreaming about the leftovers in our freezer right now.)
This peanut butter cheesecake looks incredibly creamy, decadent, and overall perfect. LOVE.
This braised Indian chicken with chickpeas and spinach is totally my jam. So gorgeous and comforting!
Hope you enjoyed this week’s Foodie Favorites! Make sure you tune in for my post this weekend – we’ll be talking SUPER BOWL in the best possible way! Have a wonderful week – XO!
