I’m a total pumpkin junkie, and this is the time of the year to do it all up all the time and be totally unapologetic about it. It’s not even that cold yet, but I couldn’t wait to start shoving some warm, cinnamon-y pumpkin goods in my face. And I’m here to tell ya, you should probably follow suit. Stat.

Hey guys! Hope you’re having a good week. We’ve continued to have pretty great weather here (well, besides today), and we’re just enjoying a lazy end to the Chicago summer before a few hectic travel weeks coming up! Here are the things that are inspiring me in the kitchen this week:
This marbled matcha pound cake is absolutely stunning. I’ve never cooked with matcha powder before, but I can’t imagine a better inspiration to start!
These sea salt buttercream chocolate cupcakes are pure decadence. Usually I don’t go too crazy over cupcakes, but these flavors look absolutely out-of-this-world!
I’m still having trouble believing it’s September, and the incredibly summer-y hot and stormy weather we’ve been having lately isn’t helping things one bit. But somehow it is, and the days keep creeping by so I’m just going to roll with it. From this point on, it’s warm and comforting Fall food all day every day, people. Get pumped!

Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a better Wednesday than I am. I’m writing this on a wireless keyboard we miraculously dug up because the “p” key on my keyboard has suddenly stopped working! I figured a post without “p”s would be pretty difficult, so I’m glad I was able to make this work. (I mean, I couldn’t even type in “Pinterest”.)
