Foodie Favorites – December 16, 2015

Happy birthday to my meat-lovin’ birthday boy!

Hi guys! Popping in one more time to say hi before the holidays – and a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout out to my boo! It’s Brad’s birthday today (and also 7 months exactly until our wedding!!) so it’s feeling quite celebratory around here, indeed. Let’s eye-indulge with some incredible cozy food!

This white been risotto with garlicky greens is my winter love-food. I want to cozy up with a big bowl of this STAT.

These mint snowman marshmallows are possibly the greatest holiday gift I’ve ever seen. Cannot handle the cuteness!

In the final week of my “Oktoberfest training”!

Hey everyone! I cannot believe I’m saying this, but after over a year of planning, it’s finally time for our big trip to Germany to visit Brad’s parents and go to Oktoberfest! We leave this Friday for a whole week of vacay. I’ve been looking forward to this trip for months, and I absolutely am giddy with the idea of a whole week of bratwursts, German beer, castle sight-seeing, and family time. Don’t worry, though – I have two posts planned for next week, so barring any internet issues, I’ll be right here the whole time! No promises whether it’s before or after a few beers, though… 😀

Foodie Favorites – June 18, 2014

Greek street food at the Wells Street Art Festival – seconds before I took one bite, then dropped the entire plate all over my lap and the curb. It was awesome (not).

Welcome to this week’s Foodie Favorites! Last week we talked about the best BBQ in Chicago instead, so I have lots of good stuff saved up for this week. Apparently I’m really into sweets lately? Let’s roll with it.
